Unit 8: Women Empowerment

This unit intends to introduce our readers with some of the issues related to women in Indian society. It includes an informal conversation between two women, and passages about challenges for women in Indian society, steps taken by the Indian government to empower women, an example of two empowered women, a passage about a women’s club and some famous slogans related to women’s empowerment.
