Various conjuncts: चूंकि, जबकि, ज्योंही, तथापि, ताकि, बल्कि, यद्यपि, and हालांकि
There are several types of conjunctions in Hindi. Some of them are given below:

| ट्रैक्टर और टेम्पो की टक्कर में दो लोगों की मौत हो गयी है जबकि दो अन्य घायल हो गये। Two people were killed and two others injured in a collision between a tractor and a tempo. |
| उसे ज्योंही नौकरी मिली उसने एक नया घर ख़रीदा। As soon as he got a job, he bought a new house. |
| तथापि अगर आप अमेरिका में पढना चाहते हैं तो आपको यह जानना चाहिए कि अमेरिका में अंग्रेज़ी में शिक्षा दी जाती है। However, if you want to study in the US, you should know that education is given in English in America. |
| आपको हिन्दी में साफ़ साफ़ लिखना चाहिए ताकि हर आदमी आपकी लिखावट पढ़ सके। You should write clearly in Hindi so that everybody can read your handwriting. |
| वह एक महान कवि ही नहीं बल्कि एक डॉक्टर भी थे। He was not only a great poet but also a doctor. |
| यद्यपि गणित का प्रश्नपत्र कठिन था, तथापि मैंने सभी प्रश्न हल कर दिये। Although the mathematics’ exam paper was difficult, I solved all the questions. |
| हालांकि अभी तक यह स्पष्ट नहीं हो पाया है कि इस धमाके में कितने लोग मारे गए हैं। Althought, it has not been made clear yet how many people have been killed in this blast. |

- चूँकि वह हिन्दी नहीं जानता है इसलिए वह मेरी बात नहीं समझ सकता।
- ज्योंही मैं दिल्ली पहुँचूँगा मैं आपको फ़ोन करूँगा।

Translate into Hindi

- She peaks Hindi, whereas her husband speaks English.
