Lu Zichang map of Prospect Garden

In the early twentieth century,  Lu Zichang made a map of Prospect Garden  大觀園 which is held by the library at Leiden University;  you can zoom into the map to see details.

Your imagination may see the layout of the garden differently; but Lu’s imagination is a good starting point to think about the garden.
