Topic 5.13 – Graphing Polynomial Functions

Graphing Polynomial Functions is an introduction to curve sketching typically done in a Calc I course. It uses the x– and y-intercepts and an analysis of the signs of the factors to determine the intervals on which the function is positive and negative (above and below the x-axis). Techniques for factoring polynomials are not discussed in this video.
