Chapter 6 – Exponential and Logarithmic Functions

This chapter establishes the exponential growth model, connecting it to geometric sequences. Applications of the exponential growth model, such as Continuously Compounding Interest, Radioactive Decay and Newton’s Law of Cooling are emphasized. The logarithmic function is defined as a tool to solve for certain parameters in the exponential growth model and the Laws of Logarithms are presented.
