Topic 7.3 – Solving Systems of Non-Linear Equations

Solving Systems of Non-Linear Equations covers several examples of finding the points of intersection of conic sections with each other and with lines. It moves quickly through the underlying algebraic manipulations and serves mostly as a quick review of the many techniques which may be used. Students should enter this video with a firm understanding of the algebraic techniques used to solve polynomial equations in one variable.
