Activity 7a – General Solution to Systems of Linear Equations
This activity finds the general solution to [latex]2 \times 2[/latex] systems of linear equations and also [latex]3 \times 3[/latex] systems. The design is to have students use the elimination method to solve each system. Cramer’s Rule and determinants are a good way to memorize the answers, but that is not the intent here.
