Suriname: Peggy Bawoek

Peggy Bawoek is the founder and project manager of Bouwadvies (2025–). She holds a bachelor’s of applied technology in construction from the Polytechnic College Suriname in Paramaribo, Suriname (2010), and a diploma in pedagogy from the Institute for Teacher Training Suriname (IOL) in Paramaribo (2021). Bawoek has worked as a junior architect for KDV-Architects in Paramaribo (2003–2025). In addition to her architectural practice, she taught first-year students about building techniques and project management at the Polytechnic College Suriname.
