Samoa: Lauano Lauina Grace

Born in Samoa, Lauano Lauina Grace is co-founder and director of Grace and Grace Plus (G.G.P.), a multidisciplinary architecture firm with locations in Sydney, Australia (2014), and Tamaligi, Samoa (2017). She holds a bachelor’s of architecture from the University of Auckland in Auckland, New Zealand, and a master’s of construction project management from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Lauano Lauina Grace served as director of the Unit Trust of Samoa (UTOS) Board (2020–2024). She now serves as the program manager of infrastructure, cyber, and humanitarian efforts  for the Australian High Commission in Samoa (2024–), a partnership between the governments of Australia and Samoa. She was appointed chair of the Samoa Housing Corporation (2023–), serves as an advisor for the Pacific Women’s Professional Business Network Inc., and engages as a mentor for the National Association of Women in Construction, Australia (2015–).
