Saint Lucia: Monica Yarde

Monica Yarde is the founder and director of Yarde Architecture and Design Inc. in Castries, Saint Lucia (2017–). She holds a diploma in architectural technology from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (1976); additionally, she earned a certificate in contract management and administration at Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in Toronto, Ontario (2017). She is a registered architect with the Saint Lucia Institute of Architects (MSLIA), where she has served as an executive member. Prior to establishing her architectural firm, Yarde worked for Interisland Architects and Planners Ltd in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia (1976–2017).
