She holds a diploma in architecture from the Universidad Nacional de Asunción. Cabral was selected for the Rolex Artistic Initiative program, where she was mentored by Swiss architect Peter Zumthor (2014–2015). Throughout her career, she has guest lectured and hosted workshops at various institutions around the world. She has served as president of the jury for the Oscar Niemeyer Award (2024), and on the jury for the Moira Gemmill Prize (2024), the RIBA Prize, and the Ibero-American Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism award (BIAU).

Cabral relocated to Brazil where she founded Estudio 4.4 (2021), an architectural studio now based in Laguna, SC, Brazil.
