Brunei: The Honorable Siti Rozaimeriyanty
The Honorable Siti Rozaimeriyant (The Hon. Yanty Rahman) is the founder, director, and principal architect of Eco Bumi Arkitek (EBA) in Brunei. She is the first woman president of the Organization of Surveyor, Engineering, and Architects (PUJA Brunei, 2018–2019), and a founding member of ASEAN Future Workforce Council (2019). Hon. Siti Rozaimeriyant holds a bachelor’s of arts in architecture from the University of Humberside in Brayford Pool, England, and a bachelor’s of architecture from Curtin University in Perth, Australia. Hon. Siti Rozaimeriyant was appointed a member of the Brunei Darussalam Legislative Council (LegCo) by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang-Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam (2017–2021) before being appointed to the position of Secretary General of ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly by the Honorable Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin (2023–2025). Hon. Siti Rozaimeriyant has served as a board member for the Darussalam Enterprise (DARe) Brunei Darussalam, the Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB), the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (2019-2022), and the East Asia Business Advisory Council. She co-chaired the Manpower Industry Steering Committee (MISC) for Construction (2020), formed by the Manpower Planning and Employment Council (MPEC) in Brunei. Hon. Siti Rozaimeriyant is an honorary fellow of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organization (AFEO, 2023), and she earned the Leadership Legacy Award in Architecture and Design Sector issued by the International Business Review ASEAN Awards (2022).
