The question

What are the bugs that live in your tummy and in the tummies of dogs? What do they do and what do they eat?

You will be able to explain what the microbiome is and describe what the bugs in your gut do!

Lesson

Activities

Ask your teacher for a coloring sheet of Spot! Using the picture, draw in the bugs you think are in Spot’s tummy.

Assessment

Find a family member or your teacher. Tell them what the microbiome is and what the different bugs in your gut do to help your tummy stay healthy. Show them your coloring page and explain what you drew.
