Lesson title

Create something really engaging! Images are great (create them or use creative commons images)

The question

What question will they be answering? Questions are really great ways to gain interest.

Example: Why can cows eat grass and we can’t?  Can cats be vegetarian?

Learning objectives

What will they be able to do at the end of the lesson?

Example: You will be able to explain why cats need meat and what allows cows to eat grass.

Lesson

Give them the information they need or show older learners how to find it. This might be a mini book, a narrated slide show, written text or something else. Please plan to create a recording of  you reading the text or telling the story so that the pre-pre-veterinary student can access this without waiting on an adult.

You can also link to existing resources!

Activities

Create ways for them to practice applying their new knowledge! This could be self-contained in the book or something that can be created in the classroom.

Assessment

Provide the assessment. This can be an activity. You don’t have to say this is the test!

Further exploration

Include links or other activities that would support future veterinary students in their learning!
