Big Questions
In this chapter, we explore the U.S. Constitution. A constitution is a set of rules that guide a country, and the U.S. Constitution is one of the oldest in the world that is still in use. Be ready to review vocabulary words that are related to the Constitution, learn about the parts of this important document, and even have the chance to add to it!
After completing Module 4, you will be able to answer the following questions:

Question #2: How does the U.S. Constitution change over time?

REMEMBER…when one event in history is happening in one part of the world, there are many other events happening in other parts of the world. These events can be political, social, economic, scientific, and/or cultural. Scan through the images below and see a few events that were happening at the same time as the writing of the Declaration of Independence, the American Revolution, and the approval of the U.S. Constitution.
