Morphemes and Connectors

We will first review the morphemes and connectors on the worksheet and then complete some exercises.

Morphology chart. The left column features a review of morphemes -ion, -ment, and -er/-or. The right column features examples in text such as expansion, agreement, and settler. Three practice prompts: use a morpheme to make a word: expand; use morpheme to make a word: agree; use morpheme to make a word: settle. Bottom chart introduces new morpheme -ent/-ant. What does it do? What is it in my home language? Examples in text and other examples. An example sentence is provided at the bottom of the chart.
